  • GrapeFest: Wine might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Texas, but they sure do make a lot of it. With both local and international varieties of wine as well a cooking pavilion demonstrating how to cook with wine and herbs, this is one of the most laid back and fun festivals of the year. GrapeFest is held in September and boasts over 250,000 visitors. There is even a grape crushing contest that brave wine tasters can get in on.
  • Top 100 Tasting: The Top 100 Tasting is San Francisco’s claim to fame when it comes to wine tasting. Of course, California is known as wine country and this festival does not disappoint! Held in October, the Top 100 Tasting features wine from the top 100 wineries of the year. You also get to meet and mingle with some of the best wine makers in the world as you enjoy a feast of the best food and the best wines in the world.

Taking place in March, this event has a twenty year history and is still going strong. With over 250 tastings and over 200 education events there is certainly enough to occupy your time during the two week-long festival. Don’t miss the World’s Longest Lunch where a chef prepares lunch for over 900 that sit at a 1300 foot table.
